Biography
Hans has started his career in the international freight forwarding industry in 1974.
His main focus has been Intercontinental Logistics, incl. Airfreight and Oceanfreight as well as Project/Heavy Lift Transport and Supply Chain Solutions.
During his career Hans has also spent 3 years in Asia, 4 years in the USA and 2 years in France.

In 1999 Hans founded his own consulting company in Hamburg (WCL WilConLog e.K.).
Effective Jan 1, 2017 Hans has been a founding partner of WCL – Worldwide Consultants in Logistics GmbH as majority shareholder and acting as Chairman to support the Managing Directors. See company presentation at www.wcl.de.
Effective Jan 1, 2024 the role of Hans changed to: Senior Advisor. Hans has transferred his shares to Martin Sieg and Christian Nebel.
Hans also held honorary positions as Chairman of the Maritime Committee of Freight Forward Europe as well as Member of the Board of the Hamburg Freight Forwarders Association.
